Categories 12 dogs / 1 x 120 miles
Maximum musher: 30
The start line is in Saint-Pamphile and the teams will leave at an interval of 2 minutes from the first scheduled departure. The course is 120 miles long on one-way groomed logging roads. There are some hills and technical turns in the course and will cross populated areas. There will be a checkpoint at mid-course with a mandatory 4 hour stop. The finish line is the same as the departure.

Categories 8 dogs / 1 x 45 miles
Maximum musher: 30
The start line is in Tourville and the teams will leave at an interval of 2 minutes from the first scheduled departure. The course is 45 miles long on one-way groomed logging roads. There are some hills and technical turns in the course and will cross populated areas. There is no checkpoint. The finish line is in Saint-Pamphile.

Categories 6 dogs / 2 x 25 miles (purebred)
Maximum musher: 30
Eligibility of dogs is restricted to CKC (or equivalent) registered Northern Breed Dogs which includes Siberian husky, Alaskan malamute and Samoyed. The start line is in Saint-Pamphile and the teams will leave at an interval of 2 minutes from the first scheduled departure. The course is an approximately 25 mile loop on one-way groomed logging roads. There are some hills and technical turns in the course and will cross populated areas. The finish line is the same as the departure.

Categories 10 dogs / 2 x 25 miles

The start line is in Saint-Omer on the Saturday, February 13 and in Saint-Adalbert on the Sunday, February 14.

Friendly race A 2.8 mile race in the streets of St-Pamphile. Snow will be put in the streets for the race. It the perfect way to show off your team to the local population. Proper security will be in place.

Amateur Class
Maximum musher: No maximum
The start line is in Saint-Pamphile and the teams will leave at an interval of 2 minutes from the first scheduled departure. The course is an approximately 1 mile loop around the main site of the race. Kids under 14 years of age with no prior experience in mushing in other categories are allowed in that category.

If due to bad weather, the Odyssée Appalachienne or some of its races are cancelled, the purses of the multi-stage races will be given according to the stages done. If there are less than 15 participants, the purses will be given at the next edition of the event.
